The Line-O-Scribe printing press uses standard metal and wood display types. It represents a simple hand-operated showcard press. The press works on the travelling cylinder principle. The operator pulls a small-diameter impression cylinder over the back of a card which has been placed face down on the press’s inked types. The types are set up on a tray and locked in place with metal wedges. Cette presse à imprimer nommée le Line-O-Scribe utilise des caractères plomb et de bois. Il représente une presse à pancartes simple qui est opérable à la main. Il fonctionne sur le principe d'un cylindre voyageant. - A spring collection consisting of three springs. One spring is possibly made of a silver stainless steel metal. A second spring is short and thin and has a solid base. The metal on the spring appears to have been painted yellow. The third and final spring is large and is only coiled three times. It is made of a silver metal that has been painted black. Une collection de ressorts qui comprennent trois ressorts en tout. Il y a un ressort qui est possiblement fait avec de l'acier inox. Un deuxième ressort est court et a une base solide. Le métal sur ce ressort est peinturé jaune. Le troisième ressort est plus large et aplati. Il est seulement spiralé trois fois. Il est fait avec un métal de couleur argent qui est peinturé noir.
