- Restaurant food soon palls on a fellow and it is hard on the pocket book. Railroaders at the "Y" at Hornepayne have a well equipped kitchen available for the low sum of one dollar a month. The money helps defray the cost of propane gas and ice. The boys make good chefs and soon stock up a box of staple foods they can store individually in the wall size refrigerator. By preparing their food they eat better and cheaper. Fruit juices, fresh milk, steaks and chops are daily items and help the men to be fit on the job. Here Bud Parsons, machinist of Windsor, Ont., Don Reid, Firemand of Allandale, Ont., and Bob Stevens, Brakeman of Sharon, Ont., do some kitchen duty during their lay over.
