To capture an image on light-sensitive material by allowing light to travelthrough a small opening into a dark chamber.
Technical
Takes 5x7” exposures on sheet film. Most parts of thevcamera were hand made by the Gandolfi family. The Gandolfi brothers were two of the last few people making fine wooden cameras in the old tradition. Their family had been making cameras since 1910.
