Important example of application of a highly popular duplicator model to small business & Japanese Canadian cultural community. Its owner, Mr. Kitamura, came to Vancouver in 1925, was sent to WWII relocation camp, later moved to Toronto. He used Gestetner to produce advertising for his stores & other material (see S.I.) - Function

- On the label: "Gestetner/ 217/ MADE IN ENGLAND 14 FL. OZ. [R] REGD. TRADE MARK"/ On the proper left and proper right sides, moulded in raised letters in the foam: "Gestetner"
