Front of can reads: "PURE/ HONEY/ FROM/ THE APIARY OF/ [BLANK]"/ Back of can reads: "6 HONEY DATE BARS/ 1 cup flower / 1/8 tsp. salt/ 1 tsp. baking powder/ 3 eggs/ 1c. honey/ 1 lb. chopped dates/ 1 cup chopped walnuts" / Below reads: "Sift dry ingredients. Beat egg/ until light and add honey. Add dryingredients, then dates and/ nuts. Spread 1/4 inch deep in/ greased tin and bake in mod-/ erate oven. When cool, cut/ in bars and store in covered/ crock or jar.
