Markings: "KREUZTISCH - ZENTRIERGLAS" and "CARL ZEISS/ JENA" embossed in gold on case lid. UHN catalogue no. "976.5.1B" printed by hand in white ink on case back.
Missing: None.
Finish: Wooden case frame covered in red imitation leather, and lined in dark blue velvet (?); silver metal clasp.
Decoration: Case covering has fine diamond pattern decoration on top and sides.
