- Markings on calculator front includes "COMPUTER, ALTITUDE CORRECTION/ AN 5837-1 MFRS. PART NO. C 1920/ ORDER NO. (11-107) 44-10337/ CRUVER MANUFACTURING CO." Markings on reverse include: "INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING ALTITUDE CORRECTION COMPUTER/ "THIS COMPUTER GIVES TRUE ALTITUDE ABOVE A PLATEAU FROM INDICATED/ VALUES."/ 1. SET THE CLAMPING ARM (P.A.) ON THE PRESSURE ALTITUDE OF THE PLATEAU/ (OR TAKE-OFF LEVEL.)/ 2. SET THE FREE ARM (degrees C.) TO THE MEAN OF THE TEMPERATURE AT THE PLATEAU AND THE/ TEMPERATURE ALOFT./ 3.
