The Nikon D70 is a digital single lens reflex camera (DSLR) that features a Nikon DX format 6.1 megapixel CCD sensor with a maximum resolution of 3,008 x 2,000 and an ISO of 200 to 1600 and a rear LCD screen. The lens mount is the interchangeable Nikon F-mount type first introduced in 1959 which is backward compatible with older Nikkor F-mount lenses including F-type Sigma, Tamron, and Tokina lenses.
