Canada: This mixer was manufactured in a factory in Barrie, Ontario by the Canadian General Electric company. This factory opened its doors in 1945 and was specialised in manufacturing small household appliances. The factory closed its doors in 1985. The design of this mixer can be attributed to Fred Moffatt who is a Canadian designer. Ce mélangeur a été manufacturé dans une usine de Canadian General Electric qui est située à Barrie, Ontario. Cette usine a ouvert ses portes en 1945 et était spécialisée dans la manufacture de petits appareils ménagers. Elle ferma ses portes vers 1985. Le design est attribuable à Fred Moffatt qui est un designer canadien.
Function: A metal beater equipped to a motor and powered by a power cable in order to mix and prepare food. Une batteuse en métal qui est accoupler a un moteur et un câble d’alimentation pour mélanger et préparer à manger.
Technical: This mixer has a design inspired from aerodynamism. The mixer came in a wide array of colours from pink to turquoise, avocado green to yellow, white, red, and even more. The mixer comprised two beaters and an ejection button as well as an electric power cable. These innovations made it easy to clean and store across many Canadian households during its time of production and long there after. Ce batteur a un design qui s'inspire de l'aérodynamisme. Plusieurs couleurs ont été disponibles : rose, turquoise, vert avocat, jaune, vert, blanc, rouge, etc. Avec deux batteurs et un bouton éjectable pour les batteurs, corde électrique le mélangeur pouvait être facilement nettoyé et rangé dans les maisons canadiennes.
