This oscilloscope was assembled and used by Ernest Decoste, electrical engineer and, from 1968 to 1996, Curator of Communications at the National Museum of Science and Technology in Ottawa. Heathkit products were designed as an affordable to factory-built products ans couldbe assembled with basic soldering and electronic measurement skills. They were very popular with radio and electronics hobbyists from the 1950s to the 1970s. - Fonction
