Canada: Purchased by R. Massey Williams (1901-1968) c. 1931 and used to screen his first film On to Ungava (LAC ISN 100780). The film documented a 17-month prospecting expedition to the Ungava Bay region of Northern Quebec (now Nunavik) in 1930-31. The projector was used for repeated screenings and public presentations of this film (and other films, which he shot between 1933 and 1938) over several decades.
Fonction: To cover, store, and protect a projector and accessories when not in use.
Technique: Excellent example of a prosumer-grade projector from the early 16mm amateur cinema era.

Fini: The case is covered with a dark brown, textured leather-print covering with yellow piping, a brown synthetic handle, and dark brass-coloured clasps. The proper front of has a gold-coloured sticker with black text and a red and gold logo. The interior is lined in a tan-coloured material.
