Technical: SWITCHES HAD TO BE CAREFULLY MONITORED SO THAT THEY WERE ONLY MOVED WHEN REQUIRED IN ORDER TO PREVENT ACCIDENTS SO THE SWITCH BOX WAS SECURED BY LOCK AGAINST UNAUTHORIZED USE.
