In 1948, the Polaroid Land Camera first introduced to consumers the wonders of instant photography and the ability to snap a picture, process and print a photographic image almost instantly in one compact camera. Using the same Polaroid classic border and color spectrum logos as the late 1970’s Polaroid One Step Land camera (2003.0191), the Polaroid Socialmatic concept camera continues with the concept of ‘instant photography’ but in the digital age. The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth web-connected device enables users to share their photos in print or digitally through any social media platform. The camera itself also has a similar form factor as the Instagram logo. A network-connected camera which records digital still images, prints them internally to produce a finished photograph almost instantly, and allows users to wirelessly connect and share photos on several social media platforms. This all-in-one device almost instantly prints photos on ink-free paper using proprietary ZINK technology (zero ink) and an integrated printer to reproduce 2”x3” photos. The Socialmatic is also a fully web-based Android OS camera that uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to allow users pair to their mobile device, connect and share photos instantly using popular apps on several ‘clouded’ social media platforms such as Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram to name a few. Cet appareil tout-en-un imprime presque instantanément des photos sur du papier sans encre grâce à la technologie propriétaire ZINK (zéro encre) et à une imprimante intégrée pour reproduire des photos de 2 "x3".
