This monitor was commissioned by Infomart for field trials. It was designed specifically for Telidon applications. It used a built-in decoder board and other hardware from the a Norpak Mark 3 decoder and a 13 inch color display. In 1983, the North American Presentation Level Protocol Syntax (NAPLPS) graphics language develop from the Canadian Telidon system was formalized, ratified and adopted as a world standard for graphics transmission by computer. - Area Notes
