- " THE TOPLEY COMPANY/ OTTAWA CANADA " & logo incised on theodolite bed, below tube level; " No 12146 " incised above. T.S.984 " incised in bed, opposite. Intertwined "T" & "S" logo incised on telescope body tube. Vertical circle graduated 0-90-0-90-0, and divided to half-degrees; verniers incised "C" & "D" divided 0-30 and read by magnifying eyepieces. Horizontal circle graduated 0-360, and divided to half-degrees; verniers incised "A" & "B" divided 0-30, and read by hinged, screw-type magnifying eyepieces.
