Technical: THIS TYPE OF FUSE WAS USED IN AUTO-ELECTRIC LIGHTING CIRCUITS TO PROTECT BATTERY. EARLY FUSIBLE-LINK GLASS FUSES REPRESENT SIGNIFICANT LEVEL OF MFG. PRECISION IN CONSTRUCTION & CALIBRATION. SLIDE-OPEN METAL BOX FOR EASY OPENING WAS MARKETING APPROACH AIMED AT DEALERS & PUBLIC (REF. 1).
