Details

Markings: Metal plate fixed to centrifuge casing front reads " FRANK S. BETZ CO./ HAMMOND, IND./ V. 110 CY. [blank] AMP. 1/ TYPE [blank] No. 88310". UHN catalogue no. "976.9.3" printed by hand in white ink on casing back.
Missing: Missing screw in one tube holder in crosspiece.
Finish: Wooden base painted black; cast metal casing painted black on lower half, silver grey on upper portion, including crosspiece. Brown fabric covering on electrical cord; black bakelite [?] plug cover. NB: One silver metal tube shield [probably aluminium] and brass-colour collar could not be removed at time of cataloguing.
