Function: Seed bags are used to store and ship seed.
Technical: The bag is graphically striking and differs from typical seed-bag design. The repeating figure on the green ground is a sprouting plant. Martin Pick notes in an email dated 1 October 2020 that the seedling is composed of the letter O, P, and S: this stands for Otto Pick and Sons, as well as spelling Ops, the Roman goddess of fertility.
