- " TRADE/ [logo; "Clay" and " Adams" arranged in cross formation]/ MARK/ JUNIOR CENTRIFUGE/ CLAY - ADAMS, INC./ NEW YORK, N.Y./ MADE IN U.S.A./ BASE CT1704 114 VOLTS 0,85 AMPS A.C. - D.C. 0-60 CYCLES" printed on metal plate fixed to casing front. Scale 0 to 6 labelled "OFF" and "MAX." also printed on plate. "SERIAL NO./ C109982" also marked on plate. "CLAY - ADAMS" cast in raised print on casing, above plate. "CORNISH" appears in raised print on both sides of plug housing. UHN catalogue no. "981.26.6 C" printed by hand in black ink on casing, below crosspiece.
- Missing
- None evident. Formerly missing screw in one tube holder in crosspiece replaced by UHN staff prior to transfer to CSTM.
- Finish
- Grey-brown wrinkle-textured finish on blunt cone-shaped metal casing, and crosspiece housing text tube holders; silver metal rings on crosspiece; silver metal on underside of base. Black rubber covering on metal electrical cord and plug; three black rubber suction feet.
