Introduced in 2004 by the Canadian wireless equipment manufacturer Research In Motion (RIM) of Waterloo, this used in Canada Bell Mobility BlackBerry 7750 for mobile professionals made “your office completely mobile so you can still do business while travelling ”. It was ideally suited for email, corporate data applications, web content and telephone in a single integrated handheld device. The 7000 series (12 models) were the first BlackBerry devices to have a colour monitor. The 7750 model featured a large 240x240 pixel screen but no Bluetooth. The integrated wireless e-mail and telephone device ran on the 800/1900MHz CDMA 1X network which allowed users to travel and still maintain wireless connectivity for e-mail, internet and telephone. Special features include: wireless e-mail, SMS, secure access to internet and intranet, attachment viewing, remote address book look-up, centralized management and support.
