This one displays attractive decorative features representing early 20th century design. Campbell Electric was a large electrical company from a heavily industrial part of Massachusetts. - Mfr. Plate reads: "MFR'D BY [logo: CAMPBELL ELECTRIC CO. LYNN, MASS.] U.S.A./ VOLTS 250 AMPS. 75/ POLES 2 NO.5045X/ TYPE C" Bottom right corner of clock face plate reads: "[logo: CAMPBELL ELECTRIC CO. LYNN, MASS.] / EIGHT DAY TIME SWITCH" Mfr's label glued to inside of door reads: "START CLOCK. Turn knob (marked "starter")./ CLEAN AND OIL at least once each year preferably by a com-/ petent clock repairer, and only the very best grade clock oil should/ be used to prevent gumming./ CLOSE DOOR tightly to exclude dust and moisture./ If exposed to the weather, a wooden box, properly constructed,/ would protect clocks when being wound in stormy weather./ OIL BREAK TIME SWITCHES, TYPE "E". Fill switch com-/partment with best quality transformer oil, preferably strained through/ cloth to eliminate particles of metal or dirt. Remove screw in front/ of box, pour oil through opening at top where switch lever works/ until it comes through screw hole. Replace screw. To remove oil - / remove screw from bottom of box. Do not attempt to use this switch/ on any voltage above 250 without oil./ TROUBLE with this switch should be reported direct to CAMPBELL/ ELECTRIC CO., LYNN, MASS., stating Serial Number of Switch, date of purchase and from whom purchased./ CLOCK MOVEMENT REMOVABLE for repairs or for shipment/ by parcel post or express by taking out the three round head brass/ screws and disconnecting switch lever./ Serial No. 5045 [hand-written number] Tested by CSA [hand-written abbreviation] Date 4[/]27[/]14/ Type C [hand-written letter] Poles 2 [hand-written number] Amp 75 [hand-written number] Volts 250 [hand-written number]/ CAMPBELL ELECTRIC CO., LYNN, MASS."
