- Following text appears on box panel: " Ministere Federal de l'Agriculture./ Division de l'Industrie Animale - Service de l"Aviculture./ [illustration]/ MIREUSE D'OEUFS POUR LAMPE ORDINAIRE./ Instructions pour le montage et l'emploi de cette mireuse./ On peut se servir de cet appareil avec n'importe quelle/ lampe de maison. Dans cette gravure, l'appareil recouvre/ completement la lampe (une lampe a crochet ordinaire.) Parfois, il peut etre plus commode d'employer la feuille de carton separee, de l'appliquer horizontalement sur le bol de la lampe et de placer la boite par-dessus, en laissant le verre/ de lampe passer par le trou du couvercle./ Chose importante:/ le trou du devant doit se trouver en ligne avec la flamme./ [window opening]/ Pour mirer, tenez l'oeuf le gros bout en haut. Mettez/ l'oeuf près de la lumière, de la manière indiquèe dans la/ gravure et tournez le lentement sur lui-même./ Un oeuf frais pondu doit paraître très clair, à l'exception/ du centre où se trouve le jaune, et qui paraît un peu nuageux;/ on reconnaît que l'oeuf n'est pas frais à la dimension de la/ chambre d'air. Un oeuf gâté paraît très sombre et très/ opaque lorsqu'on le passe devant la lumière. (Voir circu-/ laire No. 3.
