SOFT PENCILS PRODUCE GREATER DENSITY: HARDER LEADS PRODUCE LIGHT SHADING, & ARE LESS VISIBLE, AS THE RETOUCHED AREA WILL NECESSARILY CONSIST OF A GREATER NUMBER OF FINE LINES, SUPERIMPOSED ON EACH OTHER.
