- Markings
- "Fall/ Pollantin/ [Powder]/ Patented in Germany,/ the United States, England etc." printed on one flat face of tin; "Specific remedy for/ Fall Hay-fever Fall/ Prepared under supervision of the discoverer Prof. Dr. Dunbar/ by Schimmel & Co. Miltitz near Leipzig." printed on opposite side. Round paper label on lid is damaged: reads in part "FRITZSCHE BROTHERS/ NEW YORK". UHN catalogue no. "X940.2.2 G" printed by hand in black ink on underside of lid.

- Pale blue metal container [tin ?] bears red, black and gold tone text and motifs; red and blue paper seals.

- Heraldic emblem appears on paper label applied to lid. Gold tone scrollwork decoration present on rounded sides of box.
