- "Baumanometer/ REG. U.S. PAT. OFF./ BLOODPRESSURE STANDARD/ THE WORLD OVER/ U.S. PATS. NOS. 1594039 & 1821902/ MADE IN U.S.A./ W.A. BAUM CO. INC.- NEW YORK." printed on metal plate fixed to inside of case lid. "KOMPAK MODEL" cast in raised print, below plate. "223217" printed in yellow on top right of barometer casing. Scale 0- 260, divided in increments of 2, and labelled at intervals of 10. "CALIBRATED/ MILLIAMETERS" stamped into base of of scale. "DR. BERNARD A. MANACE" engraved on metal plate fixed on case lid. UHN catalogue no. "984.15.1" printed by hand in black ink on one end of case.
