- Markings
- " R N CO." (or possibly "N R CO.") painted in elaborate goldtone script on one side of base; decorative motif painted on opposite side. "PELTON & CRANE CO./ DETROIT MICH" incised on metal handgrip collar. "22" incised on topedge of one of main supporting arms. "WATER", "WASTE" and "ELECTRIC WIRE" cast in raised print around openings in base.

- Cast metal base and supporting arms painted to imitate rich brown wood finish; gold piping and decorative scrollwork. cuspidor and smaller receptacle are opaque. bright nickel (?) plating of many external fittings, attachment points, valves, etc.

- Decorative goldtone piping and scrollwork decorate base and stand.
