BELLOWS-EQUIPPED SLR CAMERA FOR SINGLE EXPOSURES, 3 1/4 X 4 1/4 INCHES, ON STANDARD CUT FILM. INTRODUCED IN 1905 BY A. KERSHAW, LONDON, THE SOHO REFLEX WAS REGARDED AS A QUALITY CAMERA. THE ONLY ADJUSTMENT NECESSARY TO VARY SHUTTER SPEEDS WAS TO CHANGE THE APERATURE CURTAIN. C. 1932 AN ACCESSORY SHUTTER RELEASE WAS INTRODUCED WHICH PERMITTED EXTENSION OF SHUTTER SPEEDS. "Camera in Register/ with Ground Side Downward" marked inside camera top, near upper viewing screen. "13" stamped into frame surrounding glass plate. "M2883" stamped in base. "Kershaw's/ PATENT/ 22698-04" incised above shutter release cable fitting. "THE/ 'ANTINOUS'/ REGD/ WATSON EDWARDS/ MADE IN ENGLAND" stamped into shutter release button top.

- UNKNOWN: APPEARS COMPLETE. METAL STRAP HANGER MISSING FROM ONE SIDE OF CAMERA: STRAP SECURED USING NYLON SHOELACE WHEN RECEIVED BY CSTM (2001).
