- Markings
- "HONEY" printed in gold on jar front. UHN catalogue no. "X934.22.4" printed by hand in black ink on underside of base. "139" printed in blue ink on adhesive tape label applied to underside of base. "AM/ 3840" printed by hand in blue ink on off-white adhesive label applied to underside of jar.
- Missing
- Inside rim of jar opening is chipped; fragment is missing.
- Finish
- Vase shaped porcelain jar has white glazed interior and underside of base; gold trim on handles and rim; red-pink, gold and off-white decoration on vase body; cream-colour handles also have gold decoration and trim.

- Leaf, feather and other decorative motif decorate jar body and handles.
