This artifact was used by CEPE [Central Experimental and Proving Establishment] that was later known as AETE (Airborne Experimental and Test Establishment), a DND (Department of National Defence) department at Uplands airport. The Canadair CP-107 Argus aircraft was one of the aircrafts upon which it was installed. Cet artefact était utilisé par le CEPE (Central Experimental et Proving Establishment) qui a été renommé l'AETE (Airborne Experimental et Test Establishment). The Consolidated Electronics Type 5-119 recording oscillograph was introduced no later than 1953. Cameras would be installed on an aircraft and controlled with the help of a control panel. The oscillograph would record information while up to four cameras would be have pre-set settings in order to photograph panels. It was used to record information onto a paper roll, of various systems on the aircraft, like the airspeed, hydraulic pressure, position of landing gear, altitude and many others. L'oscillographe Type 5-119 conçu par Consolidated Electronics a été introduit avant 1953. Des caméras auront été installé dans l'avion et contrôler avec l'aide d'un panneau de commande. L'oscillographe enregistrait de l'information pendant que jusqu'à quatre caméras étaient préréglés à photographier de panneaux. L'oscillographe enregistrait la pression hydraulique, position du train d'atterrissage, vitesse, élévation et encore d'autres. - A group of fourteen metal objects that are mostly cylindrical in shape. Some seem like they could be preplacement plug outlets while others seem to be pronged and made of a green synthetic material. Un groupe de quatorze objets fait en métal.
