An example of gas and steam emission test equipment used on ships. - Function
-
Engine performance and design test device used to accurately measure and record steam and gas emissions such as the pressure in a cylinder of a piston engine. - Technical
-
Founded by Hugo Maihak about 1910, Maihak AG, Hamburg, Germany became known as a manufacture of various technologies and devices which measure gas emissions that enabled the pressure in a cylinder of a piston engine to be recorded with precision. While these devices were used on ships, other applications followed to include hot springs indicators. Maihag AG also manufactuered fuel pumps, irons, level measuring devices, torsion measuring devices, measuring devices for building control, recording studio equipment such as amplifiers, low-noise slide controls, tape recorders, sound transmission equipment, gas analyzers, and water analyzers. - Area Notes
