The label on the of bottle of Pengo Pally (Tu me manques / I miss you en Inuktitut) represents the career of Johnny May, the first pilot of inuit background from Nunavik and a legendary figure among the locals and the industry. These words were apparently painted on the sides of the fuselage of a Havilland Canada Beaver that was piloted by May. May, born in 1947 in Kangiqsualujjuaq to Bob Martin May of Manitoba and an Inuk mother named Nancy, decided to become a pilot during a flight to his father’s fishing camp when he was six. The pilot let Johnny take the controls and after that, he knew he wanted to fly for a living. He flew his first solo flight at age 16 and has since logged more than 34,000 hours of flying time during a career that spanned 51 years. He still flies now at age 67, but his business, Johnny May's Air Charters, was purchased by Makivik's Air Inuit in 1988. Son père Bob Martin May était originaire du Manitoba et sa mère Nancy était Inuk. J. May décide de devenir un pilote d'avion lors d'un envolé au camp de pêche à son père lorsqu'il avait six ans. Le pilote a laissé Johnny prendre contrôle de l'avion et il a découvert sa passion. Il a piloté son premier envolé solo à l'âge de 16 ans et à maintenant au-dessus de 34 000 heures d'expérience en tant que pilot lors de sa carrière de 51 ans. Il pilote encore des avions à l'âge de 67 ans. Par contre, son entreprise Johnny May's Air Charters a été acheté par Makivik's Air Inuit en 1988.

The contents illustrate the variety of beer products produced by microbreweries throughout Quebec. The "Saison Haute" is a style of beer that has originated from Belgium. According to the Beer Institute of Chicago, " Saison is a style common in the province of Hainaut. These beers would orginally be brewed in early spring in order to be consummed in the summer period. Today, this style of beer is brewed all year-round with pale ales along with british and belgium hops The carbonation is very effervescent due to the second fermentation in the bottle. The classic color is an orange-gold and its refreshing flavors feature citrus and hops. Unfortunately, these beers are underrated in their country of origin. And production is limited to a few craft breweries. With its typical hoppy character, the saison style is a very esoteric style that should appeal to any American craft beer lover." It is worth noting that multiple craft brewers / microbrewers throughout Quebec have produced excellent "Saison" beers. For example, "La Graincheuse" (Voie Maltée, Saguenay), "l'Hildegarde ambrée d'épeautre" (Boquébière Sherbooke), "La Saison du Tracteur" (Trou du Diable, Shawinigan) and "La Saison Haute" (Brasseurs tu Temps, Gatineau). As well as Farmhand Saison de Driftwood Brewery (Victoria, Colombie-Britannique), l’Operis Brett Saison and Sovereign Super Saison from Four Winds Brewing Company (Colombie-Britannique) and Saison from Collingwood Brewery (Ontario). Son contenu illustre la variété des bières produits par les brasseurs artisanales / microbrasseurs du Québec. Large dark brown glass bottle. There is a label stuck on the fronk of the bottle. The label has a mixture of different colors (white, purple, blue, black, grey, yellow). The text on the label varies from yellow, red and black. On the top of the bottle there is a red aluminum cap sealing the bottle closed. Grande bouteille en verre brun foncé. On y retrouve une étiquette collée sur le devant de la bouteille. L'étiquette sur la bouteille a plusieurs différentes couleurs (blanc, mauve, bleu, noir, gris, jaune). Le texte sur l'étiquette varie entre jaune, rouge et noir. Sur le dessus de la bouteille on y retrouve un bouchon de bière rouge en aluminium qui scelle la bouteille.

Decoration

On the front label, there is a depiction of a young inuit child in the back of a small airplane, along with two other men. This young child presumably represents Johnny May, who discovered his passion for aviation when he was six years old. Sur le devant de l'étiquette, on y retrouve la représentation d'un jeune enfant inuit dans le derrière d'un petit avion avec deux autres hommes. Ce jeune enfant est probablement une représentation de Johnny May, qui a découvert sa passion pour l'aviation lorsqu'il avait six ans.
