THIS MORE "MODERN" SET HAD A COMBINED TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER WHICH MADE IT MUCH EASIER TO USE. IT WAS STILL TOO SMALL TO CONTAIN ALL THE NECESSARY PARTS SO A SUB-SET WAS REQUIRED. THIS MODEL COULD BE USED EITHER WITH OR WITHOUT A DIAL DEPENDING ON THE SYSTEM IT WAS CONNECTED TO. - Area Notes
