Some internal components bear mfr's plates, etc. "MEASUREMENT ENGINEERING LTD./ LICENSED BY CANADIAN RADIO/ PATENTS LIMITED/ PATENTED 1938- 1956 INCLUSIVE" printed on black plate inside casing, visible through rear casing opening. NB: UHN catalogue no. not permanently applied to casing. Paper tag marked "979.32.3 b" removed from artifact for storage in Supp. Info. file 2002.0990.
